Have you noticed that your city bill due date is different? According to section 13.04.030 Billing of Ordinance No 2, Series 1997, all utility bills are due 10 days after they are mailed. This makes bills due on or about the 15th of each month. Bills are late and incur a late fee of $5.00 if they are paid after the 25th of the month, regardless of whether the date falls on a weekend or holiday.
City utility bill payments can be mailed to PO Box 203, dropped off at FirsTier Bank (check or money order only), or paid in person at City Hall (cash, check or money order). The Town of Upton is not able to accept payments by credit card due to the processing expense that would have to be passed on to the customers.
